The Wall Street Journal recently published an article that discussed the work of Jan-Emmanuel De Neve and James Fowler (London School of Economics and University of California, San Diego, researchers). De Neve and Fowler conducted a study that focused on finding a “debt gene” within certain people. The two researchers discovered that people who have one low MAOA gene and one high MAOA gene tend to have a larger amount of debt (8 to 16 percent more than most people).
The study included 2,000 participants aged 18 to 26. By studying each participant’s genetic information in conjunction with the amount of credit card debt that each individual had, researchers were able to discover that the MAOA gene had a direct impact on each person’s debt ratio. Of cour

If you are planning on applying for credit, a cash rebate credit card will be an advantage that you should check into. The beneficial aspects of getting money back from purchases made using a credit card are enjoyed by many.

When you sign up for a cash back card, the amount you are eligible to receive is explained in the agreement you sign. The typical amount is 1% although there are some that go even higher.

Some cards offer as much as 20% on certain things you buy. If you can get a credit card that offers different percentages for the purchases you typically make, this would be one you want.
